Floating Finches is a stream of fluorescent pink patterns hovering above a field of clouds. The fourth painting in a series of 10 inspired by the tradition of Batik from Indonesia, this piece is primarily concerned with the concept of energy. The repetition of pattern, which is a common element in most Batik patterns, is a central element in this artwork.
