Chubby Bunny is the first in a series of 10 paintings inspired by the syncretic tradition of Indonesian Batik. It, however, also has surreal roots, as I was experimenting with lucid dreaming during its creation. The composition was constructed perfectly in my mind's eye during a particularly restful sleep, in which a repeating symbol covered a yellow universe as far as the eye could see. This painting is a little snapshot of that universe.

This piece has been created using the highest grade archival acrylic paint. It is currently available un-stretched, but can be stretched on a wooden frame for no additional cost.
